Capping off a monumental year, Kings of Leon is excited to announce the release of their first DVD - Kings of Leon: Live At The O2 London, England, on November 10, 2009 (Blu Ray release on November 24).

Produced by Emer Patten and directed by Nick Wickham, it captures the band performing at the top of their game in front of 18,000 fans on June 30, 2009, one of a three-night stint that sold out within one hour of tickets going on sale. These shows were some of the biggest of the band’s career in the country that was the first to embrace them, and the symbolism and excitement is accurately portrayed in the DVD.

9/30/2009 - KINGS OF LEON'S "USE SOMEBODY" #1 AT TOP 40 RADIO ONE YEAR AFTER ONLY BY THE NIGHT IS RELEASED

RCA Records is very proud to announce that Kings of Leon's single "Use Somebody" has hit the #1 spot on the Top 40 Radio charts in both airplay and audience. Amazingly, this is happening exactly one year after the album Only By The Night was released. At this point, with all the radio "Use Somebody" is getting in all the formats, the song is reaching a cumulative audience of 100 million on the Hot 100. The album has sold 1.3 million copies in America to date.

Kings of Leon are in the middle of a triumphant North American arena tour that will come to an end in the states on October 16 in Nashville, TN. This weekend they will be headlining the prestigious Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Only By The Night was released on September 23, 2008 and debuted in the top five on the Billboard top 200 and #1 at iTunes. The band were nominated for three Grammys and won their first for "Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals" for "Sex On Fire," which was #1 on Billboard magazine's Modern Rock chart for nine weeks in a row. "Use Somebody," which has now sold over one million tracks, was #1 at Modern Rock for three weeks straight and is currently one of the biggest rock crossovers of the year at pop radio with its position solid at #1. THE MUSIC COMMUNITY UNITE FOR TWO VERY SPECIAL BENEFIT CONCERTS

SATURDAY MARCH 14, 2009 - In response to Australia's greatest ever natural disaster the music community has banded together for a two stadium benefit concerts scheduled to run simultaneously in both Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday March 14, 2009 under the unified banner of SOUND RELIEF.

Kings of Leon have confirmed that they will perform three songs in the early afternoon at the Melbourne show. 'It was heartbreaking to watch Australia be devastated by such a horrible natural disaster. We are honored to be able to perform at Sound Relief, and are excited to have the privilege to give back to the people of Australia." said the band after hearing of the benefit concerts.

The artists will be playing short sets. Concert goers are encouraged to attend the concerts from start to finish as major artists will be spread across the bill right from the very start of the day. Kings of Leon have sold out concerts at the Rod Laver Arena on March 13th & 14th in Melbourne will therefore only be able to perform 3 songs in the early afternoon.

100% of the proceeds from the Melbourne concert will be donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

It is with great regret that Kings of Leon announce the cancellation, due to illness, of their sold out Madrid show tonight, Sunday 15th February.

Once again Kings of Leon would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused to the many people who have bought tickets for the show. The band would like to thank everybody for their understanding and also the many get well wishes they have received following last night's cancellation in Barcelona. This is the first time the band have ever cancelled shows.

Kings of Leon are very disappointed by the turn of events. They were very much looking forward to their Spanish shows.

At this time it is not possible to reschedule the two shows. Refunds are available from point of purchase.

KOL have announced that due to illness with 2 band members, they must regrettably cancel their sold out show in Barcelona tonight. The band would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to everybody who bought tickets for the show. They were very much looking forward to playing in Spain. RCA Records is proud to announce the Kings of Leon spring arena tour. These shows are the first set of US tour dates to follow their epic sold-out performance at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City on January 29th. In his review of the performance, Jon Pareles of the New York Times wrote, “The music swelled to fill the arena, from the ominous stomp that opened the set, ‘Crawl’ to the lean defiance of ‘Knocked Up’ and, suitable for the occasion, the triumphal ‘Manhattan,’ which promises to ‘show this town how to kiss these stars.’” Kings Of Leon kick off the upcoming dates on the 19th of April at the Agganis Arena in Boston, MA and finish off at the Bill Graham Civic Center on May 21st in San Francisco, CA.

Nominated for three Grammy Awards (Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals), Kings Of Leon have seen their latest release Only By The Night (RCA) take them to new levels of success in the United States. Their lead single “Sex On Fire” has been #1 on the Billboard “Modern Rock” chart for nine weeks and counting. The second single, “Use Somebody,” has just been released to radio and is following nicely in the footsteps of “Sex On Fire.” The video has been named “Buzzworthy” by MTV and has had nearly six million views on YouTube to date.

8/6/2008 - KOL North American Tour

Kings of Leon have confirmed their first North American tour in support of the band's new record, ONLY BY THE NIGHT. The album will be released on September 23^rd, and the tour kicks off on street date with an exclusive club show at New York's Webster Hall. It will continue through October and November, ending November 19^th at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, TN. A full itinerary is below.

Only By The Night's first single, the explosive and memorable "Sex On Fire," will be available on Itunes and impacts at radio next week. The song received its first public airing yesterday, Tuesday, August 5^th, on MySpace Music, the band's MySpace page. 5/21/2007 - iTunes New York In-Store

Kings of Leon will be doing a very special in-store appearance at the New York Apple Store in SoHo on Friday, June 8 at 6:00 PM. The store is located at 103 Prince Street in Manhattan. Fans can begin to line up at any time, however, admission for the event will not be until between 5:30 - 5:45 PM. The first 200 people will get wristbands for seats, approximately another 200 will have standing room admission. Be sure to get there early to guarantee your admission to this very special event. This is a free show!

5/22/2007 - Minneapolis Show Rescheduled

We regret the inconvenience the cancellation of the May 18 show caused, but the show has been rescheduled for August 3 at First Avenue. Your tickets from the May 18 show will be good for the rescheduled show. We're also added an All Ages show on August 2 at First Avenue as well. All tickets will go on sale Friday.

5/11/2007 - FM94/9 Miller Lite Independence Jam in San Diego

Kings of Leon will be playing this year's FM94/9 Miller Lite Independence Jam in San Diego, California, along with Interpol, Spoon, Living Things, The Aggrolites, Test Your Reflex, and others on June 10, 2007. Tickets are $40, and go on sale this Saturday, May 12 at 10AM, and are not available through ticketmaster.
