ANOTHER BLAZING NIGHT AT THE BIRMINGHAM SWEATBOX!

I was one of the crowd at the front in the middle of the madness... as I ususally am at the KoL gigs (which is quiet something for a short-arsed 30yr old). It was awesome! The last KoL gig i went to was in my top 3 of all time, and this is another one. It's the first time I've been to a gig and felt very ill after (lack of water, and air being stuck in the mix at the front).
My sister always comes up from London to see them play in B'ham, even though she's usually seen them a few weeks before in the 'big-smoke'. As ever they said the B'ham crowd was much better than the London crowd. I thought it was just one of those things bands always say.
It turns out that my sis agree's - so... LONDON - Let your hair down when you go to a gig. don't be so pretentious and get stuck into the fun!! Not only will you enjoy it more, but so will the band.
Anyway - Just heard that the band will be back in B'ham later in the year, and tickets go on sale later this week. I'll be there!

Ah these guys are ace.
I think touring the states with U2 and playing in front of 60k a night has helped their confidence whilst playing live. Not that they needed it!
I always regret the fact I wasn't born many years ago so I could have seen Pink Floyd/The Stones/The Who etc at smaller live events and see their faces and what chords they're playing and stuff.
But.....I wish this band every succes and am glad to say I saw them at the start
Makes up for my loss

This is the third time me and the wife have seen the Kings (LE-ON, LE-ON, LE-ON!), and as ever they were freakin' quality. We both stayed around for the after show party, and the wife met and spoke with each of the band! I met Nathan, who was really nice, and I asked Caleb if he fancied a drink - he said "no", but who cares...awesome!!
Don't need to say any more, it seems like everyone else has stated how good they were. 5 stars from me too...I only wish the beer was better at the academy.

I was lucky enough to go to the warm up session at 5.30pm, there were only about 25 of us standing at the front watching but they played superbly for us, although Caleb said it was weird because they had never done anything like it before. When they'd finished I knew I was in for a right treat at the main gig later, I had a beaming smile on my face and a longing to see more! I have been listening to the kol for a few years but this was the first time I have seen them and was blown away, think it's got to be the best gig I have been to (I have been to many), would love to see them again. The crowd were mad in there downstairs, been a shortarse I was glad to be on the ballcony with a spectacular view, even though I was sweating me cobs off it was well worth it and is something I will remember all my life.
