what a gig.second time ive seen the boys live the first was two years ago just after "aha shake heartbrake" release at a small edinburgh venue.they seemed a lot happier now than they were the and playd all the tunes i wanted to hear espescially holly roller novocaine as that was not expected.apart from all the chavs and beer boys at the gig it was still really good, the lighting ,the cctv style cameras at sides of stage, the sound, his voice, their playin all made it the best night of my life so far, cant wait to see them at t in the park, glastonbury and oxygen my credit card will be maxed after this year but as long as its spent seeing the kings i dont care.

My my, some people are whiny! Was on too much of a high to post comments after that wonderful, wonderful 12th night and you know, Christmas got busy : )
It was our 4th KoL gig of the year and the music (as always) was outstanding. That light show was gorgeous so many thanks to the lighting engineers. Cos my daughter wasn't feeling too good (post flu) we stood behind the sound engineers cage and just drank it all in...mmmmmmm, it was sooooo good.
Hearing Camaro live was a welcome addition. Did anyone else hear The Runner at Folkestone in February? I've still got goosebumps! My daughter had to drag me past the tourbus afterwards (we parked right by it)- it had been such a long wait to see them live that I was overcome with an urge to knock on the door; tie myself to the windshield; worship at their talented feet; you get the drift! Luckily my girl prevented me from embarrassing myself - lol.
When you come back to the UK guys, please please please play at the O2 - selling 20,000 tickets shouldn't present even the teeniest problem - us UK fans just cannot get enough of you!
Happy 2008 to all xxx

this was the 12'th time ive seen the kings, normally at smaller venues or festivals.. was a little worried about seeing them at wembley being such a big arena and having to sit.. anyway managed to blag my way into disabled area and had a blinding view. gotta say this was probably the best gig ive seen them do, wot an amazing set topped of by playing holy rolla novacane.. i cant wait to the guys grace these shores again... dont leave it to long.

FAB AS ALWAYS
Saturday, December 15, 2007 - 10:56 am - ego_kerry
This was the third time that I have seen the Kings of Leon, with the previous two times being at smaller venues. I was worried about the size of the arena - but I really shouldn't have been.

They ROCKED!! The stage lighting was fabulous and the cctv footage on the screens was brilliant, as due to my small stature I couldn't always see the stage.

I would just like to point out to the dudes standing behind me, that if they put their hands in their pockets and bought full price albums rather than waiting to the sales when they're a fiver, they would have known all the songs that the Kings played! Jokers!

I hope they don't leave it too long before they come back to the UK!

Wembley Gig

I saw the Kings at Wembley, they totally rocked the place. Caleb's voice is awesome. They are four extremely talented human beings, i will definitely be seeing them again, just hope it's not too long before they're back in England. Just wanted to point out that they song 10 songs from the last album, also i was singing "18, balding, star. Golden, fallen, heart" as printed in the Aha Shake Heartbreak album(not hard).

People keep moaning about the songs they didn't sing, why can't they just be grateful for the superb ones they did sing!!

.....From a dedicated Fan x

It was my second time seeing KOL this year and they were awesome last night at Wembley. I loved seeing them do Holy Roller Novocaine in particular and the song choices were spot on. They looked amazing, Caleb and Jared looked so hot in their shirt and ties and I just didn't want the night to end...... On a slight downer today and wondering when they will be back.... Make it sooner rather than later please boys!!

12.12.07 - Wembley was a rocking
Wednesday, December 12, 2007 - 9:23 pm - hannah_followill
The Kings of Leon rock! (The greatest band on earth) however last night they rocked for approximately 80 minutes which was a huge disappointment considering it was my first time to watch the band live.
Wembley Arena was a rocking, a full house… 12,000 screaming fans in attendance.
The Kings played mostly hits from their latest album "Because Of the Times" (9 songs to be precise)… "Knocked Up" "Fans" and "Black Thumbnail" among being the best performed.
Classic tracks from the second album such as "The Bucket", "Slow night, So long" and "Milk" and "Taper Jean girl" were the major highlights for me.
A surprising choice of songs from the first album as "Holy Roller Novacaine"
And "Razz" was played however "Trani" was played to perfection and had the crowd appreciating Caleb's amazing vocals.

The night was a great one but some massive tracks were not performed such as "True Love Way", "California Waiting", and "Genius" and "Soft" were left out.

The Kings ended with "Charmer" which for me isn’t the appropriate song to end their entire UK tour… I would have loved an anthem like "True Love Way" to end the concert.

The highlight for me was when the entire crowd was singing the chorus of "The Bucket"…. Just imagine 12,000 people singing…."18, balding, star, golden falling hard" Just amazing.

Another highlight was when the Kings executed the great track "Fans"… (The lyrics of the song related to us London fans) as Caleb sang directly to the London audience, the arena went wild.

Caleb's vocals were flawless, songs sounded just as they do on albums, performances were lively, energetic and authentic… and I'm an even greater admirer of the underrated Followill boys.

It was sweet, it was short but it was a memorable night, and I will never forget my first time with the Kings of Leon.

They still rock and I can't wait till they return to London.
