Dunno how it would have gone down on the Fri night in the rain, but this was amazin! The Artic's were fantastic, but the Kings def sneak it for me... they busted on there with all the Aha Shaka stuff, and then a bit a homegrown! tailed off a bit toward the end which is why I don't give it the full 5 stars, but who knows-after the next album there may be enough to keep up the tempo for a whole stonkin set! Almost up there with the Foo's 2 years ago at T -they were the best I've ever seen- ps, I think the time (as the sun was goin down, but still warm) and venue were perf-(always find the Carling Academy a let down to be honest), so maybe ya outta try out bein back a bit at a big festival as it's quite often better that up close-ya can see the whole picture, not just the band!
ps, the jock crowd's are good, but so are the Irish!

Although I think KOL are better suited to playin in smaller venues (Glasgow Carling Academy for example, was bloody brilliant), they never disappointed at good old T in the Park! They BY FAR got the best reception on the mainstage! I was at the front too! WOO! And their setlist was top class too, which for a pleasant change included Knocked Up, which was received well by the great Scottish crowd! Haha! People have to admit, us Scottish crowds are the best! KOL got an even better reception than The Fratellis, who ARE SCOTTISH and played just before them! WAHAY!
KOL outdid every other performance at TITP! CLASS
