Me and my mate were sooo excited when we flew to Paris to see the KINGS!!! When we got to the La Bataclan we were gutted to be 3 rows from the front... luckily somebody fainted and me and my mate stepped over her and nicked her space... RESULT!!! The only thing was we ended up stuck behind a couple of tardy's who thought we were the only people in the hall pushing. Apart from that the band were as usual amazing live, and they're getting more and more confident every time I go and see them.

Caleb was feelin' the heat and took his jacket off... I shouted at him to take the rest off, and I prayed to the big man that he would!!(maybe next time baby!) Woke up the next day cringing 'cause I remembered me and my mate were hanging around the back of the truck were Nacho was loading the equipment... we were staring at him for about half an hour hoping he would invite us back to a party (as if we had a chance)... still cringing!

Loved the Kings since Youth & Young Manhood and they continue to get better. Can't wait for a 4th album and also to see them again for the 4th time this year at Glasgow SECC.... see you again at the back of the truck Nacho baby!!! xxx

Travelled from ireland to see this gig....it was surreal!

Why do i say that, you might ask?

Well we were all dripping in sweat when the gig came to end, then, we literally, ran as fast as we could to the front door gasping for air!- like, as if we held our breath for an hour! After that we went to our hotel and two of the guys ran a bath together....

I think it must of been because of the lack of oxygen that got to their heads or otherwise KOL songs have hidden messages that advocate bath sharing!

jeebus, who cares about the funking crowd, its the band you go see...

yeah the crowd really sucked, except for a few people who were really into the show (like "cabout" and myself!!)
but you guys are THE BEST!!!

The gig was truly one of a kind but here's the thing, I thought people are supposed to listen and appreciate the music instead of crowd surfing and pushing people. That's what they do in discos. I was at the front row and when Snowden were on, there wasn't any pushing, but when a girl fainted behind me, 2 girls from Scotland took her place and pushed her friend behind and started screaming at Jordan (lead singer of Snowden) telling him to tell KOL that they were Scottish and told Caleb to take his top off. They were very irritating, they didn't even know the words to the songs. So it doesn't matter whether you're French, Parisian, or European because some people regardless of nationality, share the trait of being tacky and annoying. All in all, the gig was phenomenal, and I have to thank KOL for their time giving us autographs and taking pictures in the end.

To all you anti-parisians, even though I am myself half parisian, i must say parisians suck!!! i was at the front, and there were two girls next to me who had never heard of you guys and just came because they had nothing else to do and were f***ing losers! they kept on telling me :"I can here you screaming but i can't hear him sing" and gave me nasty looks when ever i accidentally bumped into her...
but anyway, back to the important stuff: KOL ROCKS (litterally)
i'll never forget this day, the best concert i have ever been to I must say. you are what I would call a TRUE live band

No matter the audience, no matter what I read about Paris.
It was a great show. The new album is gorgeous. Can't wait to hear you again when a new album is released. Come back to France, people really enjoy your music. California waiting is the best song ever, Fans is my favourite of the last album. Keep going guys. Simply the best

The best gig I've ever been too! I'm a bit of a short arse so the layout of the venue was gr8 for me because I could stand on a step and see the whole concert. The sound quality was excellent and the set played was perfect from start to finish. I thought the crowd wasn't bad but then maybe I was too engrossed in the music too notice - it is all about the music after all!!

this concert was amazing !!! we don't regret to have travelled 600km for this show. thanks to KOL for the autograph and pictures we could take with them after the concert.
we are french and we danced and had fun all along the show.
So don't generalise...!!!

I'm french but not parisian and I was in the front row and I swear to god that I was sweating and moving because my shirt was so wet and my body still hurts me ! But the kings were just awesome and the sound was perfect.

Yeah, you're totally right, they sucks !!! I live in Paris, but I'm not French... I've been in a lot of concerts... and they're just like that.... Parisians!!!... yesterday there was a girls asking me to stop whistling... what a b****!!! I think that was there first you ever in life !!!!

KOL is a great band who does not deserve a crowd like the Parisians: they sat as if they were at the cinema and they stood as if they were queing at the supermarket.

I witnessed someone dancing who was asked by fellow french concert goers to sit down because they were blocking their view. Never in my life have I been to a concert with such a boring and banal crowd like the Parisians!
(The only people dancing were the foreigners up front!)
(I went to Swindon,UK and EVERYBODY danced and had fun!)

Perhaps in this city it is not appropriate to have fun and let loose: maybe it is because they are too concerned with their looks and scared that a drop of sweat might ruin their make up!
