about me

hello!!! i'm paige and i love the Kings of Leon! i remember my stepdad playing them and my little sister singing to Day Old Blues. i was hooked from then on. i've seen them twice and wish they would came to MA more!!! they are extrememly talented and their music always makes everything better :-). i really want them to put out another album soon! i wanna hear some new stuff by them!!!
i love to row in my free time.
i enjoy all the Kings of Leon music but my favorite song is obvious. i also like the features, white lies, you me at six, cage the elephant, green day, valencia, the audition, biffy clyro, pearl jam, the Kin, all-american rejects, seether, backstreet boys, Saving Abel, Theory of a Deadman, Band of Horses, The weeks, MGMT, Modest Mouse, the White Stripes...
i love to discuss music with anyone
i love hearing other's opinions on music.
i can't live without my music.
i realize that no one cares what i write here.
it bothers me when people pick favorite band memebers. (there wouldn't be a band if there was just one followill)
i think that popularity has killed the Kings of Leon.
because of the times and aha shake heartbreak are their best work.
they really need to stop trying to please the main stream.
the notion video sucks ass (way, way, way too main stream).
the bucket is one if the best music videos ever made.
i really hope they make at least one more album.
they should forget the main stream and go back to how they looked around youth & young manhood times.
it bothers me when people shorten the Kings of Leon to the kings... they chose their name call them by it.
people need to stop shortening the album names by only using the first letters (Y&YM, ASH, BOTT, OBTN)

So pleased u have the DVD & are loving it. I keep coming over all nostalgic. At least u see wot the O2 looks like, as well. I have only seen them the once so I hope they come back here soon, but I don't think that will happen until they have a new album out. More's the pity.
It's so funny, Amercians want 2 move to London & I would happily move 2 the US. I have visited quite a few times & seen quite a bit of the US & I love it. It is so huge u wouldn't ever have 2 go out of the US on holiday as there are so many States 2 visit.
Sorry 2 hear that u are having a bit of a boring time with school work & filling in forms 4 colleges. I remember all of that, it seems never ending. U should try & find some time 4 yourself & 2 do things with yor friends as u do need 2 have a break. An old British saying - all work & no play makes Jack a dull boy!!!!!
We are having really crap weather here at the moment. Yesterday it not only poured with rain, but it was blowing a gale as well. Typical November weather. Yuk.
Going 2 see Pink at the O2 in about 3 weeks so really looking forward 2 that.
Am now having my ECG in 2 weeks, ridiculous that I have 2 wait so long, haven't heard about my X Ray results either.

Thanks 4 remembering about them. Well, I have decided machines don't like me!!!!!
I have had internet access problems with my PC for weeks now. Now u see it, now u don't. Then I was due last week 2 have an ECG & I was all hooked up to the machine & it wouldn't work, although it had done earlier that morning. Don't no when I will be having that done. Then the day I was going 4 the X Rays I was just going out the door & the 'phone went & it was them 2 say the X Ray Machine was broken!!!!! Luckily it was fixed later that day & I went in the afternoon. See wot I mean. X Rays will now have 2 go back 2 my GP.
Wot have u been up 2? Anything exciting?
My visitor is now back in the US. Not long enough time spent with him, but them's the breaks.
Have just been watching the KOL Live DVD which is awesome. It brought back great memories of the gigs at the O2 & of the peeps I met there off this site. Amazing.
Seems ages since those gigs, tho, want them 2 come back soon.

'On Call' is one of my favs, but then I have so many, they change all the time. My DVD has still not arrived, I am really annoyed. They said it was sent out on Tuesday so I thought it should have arrived today. I keep reading about peeps who have received theirs, so I am not a happy bunny.
Sorry yor parents won't let u go see the bands, I remember all that, it sucks!!!!!!!
Goodness knows when I will get the ECG done now, will just have 2 wait until they give me a ring. Off for the X Rays on my ankle on Monday, but I suppose it is best to make sure I haven't cracked any bones.
My friend is back in London now & flies back 2 the US on Monday. Great 2 see him, but not long enough really. Still we do keep in touch & he wants me 2 visit him again, just have 2 start saving the money. Ha Ha!!!!!!
Trying to sort our Christmas Lists at the moment - horrible job.
