My first encounter with the Kings of Leon? I guess "On Call" on the radio. I thought it was cool, but that was it. Then "Sex on Fire", also good but still didn’t quite catch me. Then one nasty winter morning I heard "Use Somebody" on the radio on my way to work. It felt so strong and so real. In the next two days I already had all of their albums and two other colleagues from my office infected with KOL’s music
I kept listening to all their albums again and again, all day long. No performer has caught me like that for a pretty long time. I guess last time it was Branford Marsalis with his "Eternal".
Other than KOL, I listen to various music: rock in general – old time classics, as well as some indie, grunge, you name it. But I still like listening to metal music or go to Metallica or Iron Maiden concert from time to time. Also jazz is quite important in my life.
Apart from music, the love of my life is cinema. I adore film noir, old classics and pieces created at the beginning of the cinema (my all time favorite is Georges Méliès). I like watching movies for fun but also for analysis. I’m always open for discussion
