the kings of leon in my opinion,are the greatest band to come out of the us in a very long time,if not ever!!i remember seeing the video for wasted time and thinking?"who the hell are these guys.I was totally blown away,and quickly found out where i could see this amazing band,fortunately for me,they were touring the uk not long after,and a dream became a reality when i went to see them at the guildhall in southampton england,where i might add,they tore the roof off!!,since then ive seen them about 14 times and even had the pleasure of meeting them when they played the bournemouth international centre on july fourth07,it was bizzare,having fallen in love with there music and then actually getting to work for them,it was so cool,and i hope i get to do it all again,one day,maybe?fingers crossed,i actually sneaked my girlfreind into the soundcheck and had the pleasure of hearing the classic true love way and a few others,now i can die happy!after the gig all the crew went outside for a firework display of bournemouth pier to celebrate there independance day,the following day me and my girlfreind made the hellish journey up to cardiff to see the band again,caleb strolled onstage looking cool as a cucmber with a new haircut and had every girl in the venue screaming like banshees,im hopefull that they return very soon
and keep on playing great shows,theres no one like those guys,there in a league of there own,and there music and lyrics speak for themselves,god bless kings of leon.the followills are rock and roll legends and have touched my life in a very special way,keep up the good work,and should anyone of the crew happen to stumble across this message,tell the guys to play more of the first album in there set,tracks like genius,wasted time,happy alone,etc,thanks again,love and respect.big mark
