about me

Hey everyone! Welcome to my page! I'm Elaine and I'm from the beautiful Emerald Isle (aka Ireland!). I've been a huge KOL fan since the first time I heard Fans on the radio about a year and a half ago. Jared is my fave but they're all pretty darn cool! My fave songs are Use Somebody, Sex on Fire, Closer, Notion, Charmer, My Party, Ragoo, Fans, Milk, Slow Night So Long, King of the Rodeo, Four Kicks, Wasted Time and Molly's Chambers. I've been lucky enough to see the Kings twice in concert - last December in the O2 in Dublin, and also at Oxegen this year. Both times were absolutely amazing and I can't wait till they come back to Ireland again! Other music I like includes Oasis, Bloc Party, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini, U2, Elbow, Ryan Adams, MGMT and Newton Faulkner..but none of them are a patch on my KOL boys! xx

Big apologies for it being so long in speaking to you! I haven't really been on the site in a wee while & have been mad busy doing things in the week & at weekends that this is the first time in ages that I am getting to sit down & message people!!

So how the devil are you?? All well & good I hope. What have you been up to recently?? Did you enjoy Oxegen? I hope so hun, I've not seen any footage from the Kings stint there, then again I've not had the chance too properly!

They sounded great, but you're right - they should know whether something's not quite as it should be. Yeah I noticed that too, and it sounded a bit slower or maybe a bit echoey? If you get what I mean, but yeah it was great to see his spirits lifted during Sex On Fire.

Haha that's awesome! The one he played T with had tape on it I think, but I'm not sure if he smashed it there, mind you, not the whole set was on telly which was a bit of a bummer! I'd have loved to have heard it all

Yeah, I was totally bummed when I realised, but Cali will be great! We're going to Martinez, my hometown's twin town because John Muir (famous scottish-born american naturalist) was born in Dunbar, so the school does a trip there every two years. We stay with American families and visit Yosemite park (which JM opened) for a couple of days and camp there under the stars with the bears haha! Then we move onto San Fransisco for about 4 days and visit Alcatraz and do various stuff that we'd like so it's pretty exciting!

Aw wicked! I'd like to see it but I've still not seen the one before it so can't go until I have ha! Mines was alright, just went out and my mate stayed over and I climbed Arthur's Seat today. It was so windy at the top but the view was amazing!

red morning light was kinda the first song i liked that they had...dont think im gonna go next year,maybe just a day trip.just went out with the lads saturday night round where i live.did you get up to anything? hows the study going?the summer is going so fast...
