Music to me is everything. I have never played an instrument (or at least wasn't very good at it) but somehow have a passion for music, lyrics and the dynamics of a band.
When I first heard Kings of Leon almost 3 years ago something definitely intrigued me. There was something about Caleb's voice and his ability to just belt out a song with such raw talent. The lyrics are another thing. You really need to listen to their songs over and over to figure out what they mean. Maybe I analyze KOL's songs too much. But, they move me in a way that no other band has ever done before.
Now that they are becoming well known in the States, I know many fans have mixed views on that. A part of me wants them to stay this band that not many are aware of. But, a large part of me is thrilled for their success and happy for them that they are finally getting the recognition they so deserve.
I cannot wait to hear what their next albumn will be... all I know is that I will always be looking forward to their next show.
