I live near one of the coolest cities... Cologne! That's where I'm studying to become a teacher for primary school (will also teach them in 'KoL'

I hope the cold & sore throat are getting better. There are lots of bugs about & they are taking a long time to shake off. Not nice.
I like the sound of your trip to the theatre with the children. I bet that will be fun. The time does seem to have gone quickly since u have been teaching. I agree when something nice is happening & u are enjoying yourself the time seems to go so quickly. Doesn't seem to work the same way round when it's something horrible!!!!!!
I went out with some of my girlies last night for a Chinese meal. I haven't had one in ages as I have to be careful because of the Chron's. It was lovely, quite expensive but they really looked after us. We were badly behaved, as usual, even though we can't drink cos of driving!!!!!!!
I have one more friend to meet for lunch & that will be the end of the Birthday celebrations!!!!!!!!
I went up to London last Saturday & met Charlie. We had a good old natter over lunch & then went to see Alice in Wonderland. Brilliant. As it was a nice day we came out & walked up to Covent Garden. London was packed as it was a nice day & of course a Saturday + there were a couple of big football games on. Still we had a lovely day. Quite wiped me out, tho.
This weekend is going to be a mixture of relaxing & housework. Haven't done much of that recently with all the lunches & things.
Weather here has been very pleasant & the temperatures have risen a bit, at last. Fingers crossed it lasts.
I have tickets to see KOL in Hyde Park, but am not going to see them at the V Festival. I've just paid out too much money on gig tickets, hotels etc recently so just couldn't afford it. Never mind, at least I will have seen them at Hyde Park.
I sent u a message on FB yesterday to say that I posted the Percy Pigs + a couple of other little pigs to you so they are on route. Hope they arrive safely.

if u read my status here or on FB u would realise I have been without my PC for just over a week. It went into major melt-down & had to go to the Computer Doctor for a full healthcheck. At least it is now running faster & has new anti-virus programme on it.
So pleased that u are having such a good time at school & actually doing some teaching. Get you!!!!!!!! Still that is what it is all about so it's great that u enjoy it so much.
Always have to wait at the hospital, they book in several patients all for the same time slot. Totally stupid!!!!!! Anyway, the Chron's Consultant was fairly pleased so unless anything goes wrong or my monthly blood tests show anything up I don't have to go for 6 months. He did feel my pulse & said my heartbeat was still irregular though. I have to go see my GP about that.
The gun season as such is over in that we have a season when they can shoot game ie pheasant & partridges. However, there is no limit on when they can shoot rabbits or pigeons etc. It's a shame he is so scared but he hates any loud noises.
Your sandals sound very nice, I must start to wear my new shoes around the house or they will hurt when I want to wear them out.
We have had some nice bright days here too, although still very cold. Better than rain or snow, however.
Have been out to lunch with a friend today - late Birthday lunch. I have 2 more lunches + a dinner this week & that will be the end of the Birthday celebrations!!!!!
Today I have bought the Percy Pigs, finally. I will wrap them & let u know when I put them in the post.

Much too cute to use. The flowers were lovely weren't they. There were these wonderful thick leaves in the arrangement - green edged in purple. Very unusual.
Cleaning yesterday + walk in the forest. It was a bright, sunny day but very deceiving as the wind was very cold. It is the same today but I expect although it looks lovely it is still very chilly. Haven't been outside yet, have just been washing my hair. Sorry to hear u have the dreaded white stuff again. I really wish the temperatures would pick up soon, as well.
Off to the hospital to see the Chron's Consultant tomorrow. That should be fun as he is always running late & I hate sitting around, especially in hospitals.

Good to hear that u are enjoying the coaching sessions, not so great about more Maths today, though. A shame that a lot of your friends couldn't make it last night, but I suppose it is sensible when the weather is not too good. Still I hope u enjoyed your DVD evening with your friend. At least it was a change of scenery for u.
That was funny getting invited to someone's Birthday that u haven't seen for a while. That will be good fun, u will have loads to catch-up on.

My back is not great again today. That is because of the housework & when I walked Archie yesterday there were 2 gun shots & he freaked out & was trying to pull me back to the car. I had to have the lead really short & hang on with both hands. By the time I got back to the car my arms really ached & the lead was cutting into my hands. I think that is another reason my back is hurting more than usual today.

I must really have a sort out of clothes. I have them hanging all over my wardrobes at the moment, should really put them inside the wardrobes!!!!!! New shoes - great. I bought some a couple of months ago for the Summer. They aren't sandals but very light pumps. They have lots of chains & strings of pearls & things that go round the ankles. The pumps are black. I should really start wearing them round the house to break them in a little.
