about me
As you probably can see from my profile pic i’m quite an ordinary gal. My hair gets messy in the wind, i’m bound to splash dirt on me should i wear white clothes on a rainy day, and i get angry when i’m hungry (seriously, be warned about that)

I work as an office assistant in a small firm. Go for walks several times a day (on demand of my dog mostly). I’m not much of a talker, especially around strangers, but nonetheless enjoy good company (and can be chatty in the end). I hang out on the Internet quite a bit, but not too much, surely Oh, and sometimes i use way too many smileys

I cannot imagine my life without music. I have Travis, Editors, and U2 firmly in my heart right next to Kings of Leon. Unfortunately i cannot neither create nor make music myself. But i’m pretty sure one day i’ll learn to play some musical instrument so i could at least imitate playing other people’s music Seeing that i’m usually quite optimistic, it might just work out.

I found Kings of Leon only just a few months back now (that's August-Sept 2009). Well, i had heard of them before, of course, but sort of refused to give them a good listen - although i was amazed by Caleb's shrieks in 'Charmer' (how does he do that?!), i didn't like it, so... This year, however, i caught one of their live shows on MTV2 and was quite impressed by this one very long, kinda laid back song with a repetitive guitar part (ahem, Knocked Up) and this one song where the audience actually clapped to the bassline (On Call) I guess it was actually Notion that finally did the trick and lured me over to the world of the Kings By now i have bought all of their albums and cannot kick myself hard enough for having ignored their music before.

I got a lazy mind
it only works part time.
It wont do what I ask
not even a simple task.
So if you need advice
might have to ask it twice.
I hope you understand,
I do the best I can.

I wont give up on you, so dont give up on me.
Oh baby please I'm down on my knees.
That's all I ask of you.

-- The Features, All I Ask

Dear diary
What is wrong with me
'cos I'm fine between the lines

-- Travis, Dear Diary

Every little piece
Pulls in it's own direction
Please love, don't be scared
It's just your own reflection

-- Editors, Spiders

Kill me, kill me
Called and i called, but i can't get through
Said he's on his own, but his own is you
Kill me

-- Kings of Leon, Milk

Hope this finds u well?
I am usually pretty good with my replies, but sometimes as u say we all have things that crop up & stop us replying so quickly. Lately mine all seem to involve my PC. A short while ago I lost internet access for 3 weeks. That was awful & then that was sorted & about 2 weeks later the machine went into melt-down. It had to go to the Computer Doctor for this major healthcheck. I'm wondering what the 3rd problem will be!!!!!! (Not very positive, Jane).
Alice in Wonderland was brilliant. Well, in my humble opinion. The graphics & colours were awesome, Johnny Depp great, as usual, & a lot of British actors did voiceovers. I would highly recommend it & would definitely see it again.
The forest venue where I see Simply Red is about a 15 minute drive from where I live. The forest is called Thetford Forest & is all around us, miles upon miles. It is owned by the Forestry Commission. This clearing they have used in the Summer for a few years now as it is added income for the up-keep of the forest. I have seen Bryan Ferry (from Roxy Music) there, Crowded House when they reformed 2 years ago who were brilliant & last year one of my all time heroes Paul Weller. It is so nice to be able to get up the front & be up close & personal for a change. It is all very civilised as u can take chairs & a picnic which u usually have when the support band is on. Status Quo play there regularly as does Jules Holland, The Sugarbabes, The Doves & Keane are playing this year as well. All good bands. There are several places owned by the Forestry Commission in Norfolk & they hold things as well. We've also had Meat Loaf, Van Morrison, the list goes on. The only thing is u have to hope for good weather!!!!!!!!!
Let me know your news when u have time. Take care.
Muchos huggles & big, big luv. Jane XXXXXX

well, yes, I saw coldplay last saturday, the concert was very very good, excellent sound, they played all the famous songs and the best of the night (for me) was Fix You and yes, I was far from the stage, but was ok, there was 3 screens, and at the end of the concert the gave free CD's to everybody (of the same concert), the end was a madness, I couldn't find to my friends and the cellphone communication was imposible!
1 hour after I did the 1° call, and the traffic another thing lol, but everything ok hehe...ok talk 'u later again
