I'm from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and being a huge music fan and musician, I found Windsor to be a perfect place to grow up since it borders on Detroit, Michigan. In turn, I take full advantage of the musical history Detroit has to offer, considering it being "Detroit Rock City", the birthplace of Motown, one could argue the birthplace of punk (Iggy and the Stooges anyone?) and a rich history in jazz and blues. I believe that my taste in all music is a direct result of this.
Im a very positive person and I like to keep my attitude simple, and that's don't hurt anyone, don't hold yourself above anyone else, don't be afraid to make fun of yourself and to treat everyone you meet like they are the last person on earth. It's amazing the kind of people you meet just by showing a little compassion.
There isn't a whole lot I take too seriously other than my family, friends, and my love for music and making it, which is why I signed up here. I find that KOL are one of the only honest bands left out here, doing their own thing, writing their own music and not looking to fulfill an image first and make music second. It's refreshing to hear this and see this. I am also in a band, but I'm choosing not to talk about us or promote us on here since it's really not about my band, but the Kings rather!
Also, I always enjoy meeting new people who have a love for the same bands as myself, since I could talk for days to anyone about music!
