The whole weekend was great, but the best part was def seeing kol. The whole set was awesome. The crowd was really into it. I was about 5 people back from the barrier so I had a great view. I met up with another member from here and we had a blast. I was so glad they played the new devil song, or lucyfur...whatever it's being called. It was really a good place to play that peticular song. I really hope they make it back to Jazz Fest next year. They need to come to Houston too, so I don't have to travel to see them. Love you kol!!
Well worth the wait

Kings of Leon was the only band I wanted to see at Jazz Fest this year and they were great! I had been looking forward to seeing them in concert for years and I wasn't disappointed.
YOU GUYS ROCKED N.O.!!!

That was my first (and def not my last) concert to see the boys play - and it was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Just as good in concert as on a cd, actually even better because we got to hear the rawness of Caleb's voice and he was great (of course you can't go wrong with a voice like that...) as well as Nathan, Jared, and Matthew - AWESOME JOB GUYS. It was crowded to the max, hot and dirty - BUT THAT DIDN'T EVEN MATTER!!! The setlist was great, except yall should've played King of the Rodeo (it's kind of the city's theme - Let the good times roll). But who cares?!?! Regardless it was an amazing experience and I'm just totally thrilled I got to go. PLEASE COME BACK TO JAZZ FEST KOL!!! There really are alot of fans here in Louisiana (and the states for that matter) and we are one of the music capitals of the world - yall have to come back! Please don't stay overseas for too long - yall have something good going on in the states now... This has never happened to me...I haven't stopped listening to the cds for 5 straight months now. I consider myself an avid music listener and no one has got to me like this except the great rock gods Led Zeppelin. Please keep it up KOL - release some more good stuff and I promise yall are going to see just what yall have done for people.

Unbelievable performance! Kings of Leon are what my generation has been looking for in a band for a long time. On my way to see them Friday night in Tampa.

These guys were just incredible at JazzFest!! It was my first time seeing them in concert, and it was everything I expected and more. Their awesome live sound is a testament to their musicianship, and of course, Caleb's impeccable voice doesn't hurt. They kicked off the set with "Crawl", a good opening number that got the crowd going. They did all the fan favorites (Sex on Fire, Use Somebody, On Call, The Bucket, etc), but I was glad to hear Molly's Chambers, Four Kicks, Notion, and Be Somebody. I also very much enjoyed Fans and Knocked Up. I would've liked to have heard King of the Rodeo and Revelry, but I understand that it was a shorter set than most, and their festival sets are modified versions of their usual ones. I was delightfully surprised, though, to hear Cold Desert - Caleb portrayed such raw emotion that I was near tears. Overall, it was such an incredible experience. I am absolutely going to see them again; I just hope they come back to Louisiana on their next tour! They have so many fans here that love them!
