Thanks for the welcome! It's tough to say which is my favourite KOL song. The first time I ever saw them was when they performed on the Craig Kilborne show and they played "Spiral Staircase", and it got me hooked. So you could say that's one of my favourites. I'm also into "Molly's Chambers", "My Party", "Manhatten", "Crawl" and "Charmer". Charmer is such a weird tune, very unconventional. The way Caleb sings it makes him sound so nutso, it's badass. I couldn't help but notice you've been listening to APC lately. They're one of my top 5 favourite bands. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Tools also, but I'm very partial to APC. The textures and sounds they use fit perfect with their songs. It's a very "classy" form of rock/metal. I can't stand it when people say they sound just like Tool. Just because of Maynard? They sound nothing like Tool. It's like saying Gorillaz sound like Blur because of Damon Albarn. Besides, Billy Howerdel writes all of the music. You can even tell if you listen to his solo album Ashes Divide. Very good stuff also, but nowhere near as good as APC and Maynards voice and melodies. Anyways, sorry for the long-ass post. I first heard them quite recently, Only by the Night was already released, but I had the first three albums, and I loved them What is your favourite song, and how did you first hear them?
