I just read a post from you on a profile, and I had to come over and say that I feel the same way about PJ's Ten..I was 13 when I bought it, and it has influenced my taste in music since the first day I listened to it, and I experienced that same feeling again when I first heard ASH....My 2 favorite albums of all time!! Here's to our excellent taste in music! *cheers*

Hey, firstly, thank you for trying to do that list, but sadly the link didn't work because I'm outside the US.
The good news is that Ten has plopped through my letterbox and is on my cd player! The one album I have anyway is Lost Dogs so I already know and love Wash and Dirty Frank
But, how was Nashville? I hope it lived up to your expectations and look forward to hearing all about it!

The US shows have been going really well haven't they, and you've got another to look forward to you lucky thing!
Did you meet up with any of the UK fans at the show?
Ha ha, I know what you mean about meeting your heroes. It can be a real mistake. I think that timing is everything in those circumstances. Let's hope if you ever get to meet them the timing will be perfect!
Oh, I forgot to mention before that I've been very backward about it, but have just recently started to truly appreciate Pearl Jam. Was lucky enough to see them at Reading 2007 and enjoyed them very much, but only really got around to giving them an in-depth listen over the last few months. As I'm still a rank beginner in PJ terms I'd be interested to know what your favourite tracks are if you don't mind sharing.

How could he?!! The last time I heard that live was Wembley and I couldn't believe they were playing it as they'd skipped it before. Best song of the night
I suppose it must get harder to remember all the lyrics as your back catalogue grows!
Um, yes this summer has been less than great with KoL for me as we went to Benicassim where they were dust-stormed out. That was a big old bummer for everyone, but I wouldn't have played in those conditions - it was horrible.
Reading was a weird one. Firstly it was the end of August and so should have been warm. Hell no, it was flipping cold. Freezing rain lashed us in the afternoon and because of the wind and cloud a lot of people (me included) stayed wet and cold for the rest of the day. That was never going to stop me from getting fairly near the front to party and I thought they were playing well and I was enjoying it enormously. When Caleb started mouthing off at us I was bewildered. I still enjoyed the rest of the songs but the tantrum and attitude at the end was a big disappointment. My daughter felt like I did - slightly sick and very emotional.
When I got home (I'd only gone for the day to see them and met up with my daughter and her mates who were there for the whole thing) I checked the BBC3 coverage and Nathan's twitter. Not good.
After the event there was much discussion here and some people thought their behaviour was unforgivable, some just chalked it up as "Rock'n'Roll". I think that they had become so used to UK fans going insane at every show they found the Reading crowd, who are very young and just as likely to be thrilled by the Friendly Fires or White Lies, somewhat blase. It was a great pity that they didn't at least acknowledge or maybe realise that plenty of people in that dark, wet, cold field hang on their every word and go to great lengths to see them. However, I am thrilled for them that the US audiences are finally giving them the love that they crave and so richly deserve. I agree that they need a holiday from the relentless touring - mainly because I can't wait for album number 5
Great to meet another long-term fan too! Look forward to hearing about the upcoming shows. Very much wish I could be there...sorry this is so long!

I LOVE Trunk! So much that it's on my phone as the ringtone for my youngest daughter, who is responsible for introducing me to KoL, bless her
Wish they'd still play it live...very envious to note that you have 2 gigs lined up in the immediate future, but hope you have an absolute blast.
