2009/10/12 - Kings of Leon To Release Live DVD On November 10

Capping off a monumental year, Kings of Leon is excited to announce the release of their first DVD - Kings of Leon: Live At The O2 London, England, on November 10, 2009 (Blu Ray release on November 24).

Produced by Emer Patten and directed by Nick Wickham, it captures the band performing at the top of their game in front of 18,000 fans on June 30, 2009, one of a three-night stint that sold out within one hour of tickets going on sale. These shows were some of the biggest of the band’s career in the country that was the first to embrace them, and the symbolism and excitement is accurately portrayed in the DVD.

Even though I ordered the DVD, I had to buy it on I-Tunes as well. Couldn't wait the week! I'm reading that people are upset about Trani (as usual). Guys, don't you see what everyone wants? Take a poll! Trani is always everyone's #1 request! I saw Bob Dylan in Philly last night and got to meet him. So naturally, I talked to him about you guys and your tour with him. So this setlist is kinda dispointing. They dont have alot of the good ones: trani!!!!!!, spiral staircase, king of the rodeo, arizona, i want you, etc. if i was them i wouldnt have put use somebody sex on fire or notion. most of the people who buy this dvd is going to love KINGS OF LEON, not use somebody/notion/sexonfire!! im still gunna buy it and watch it over and over again obvs, but they totally could have done a better job with the set list. Hopefully the next live dvd setlist will be better!

I have been 10 KOL shows, and the set list hardly varies. Lucky for them, they put on a great show every time. But it is time to switch up the set list guys.
