Hello KOL community of fans!

As most of you probably realise by now, Angie has resigned from her position as official moderator on this forum. We will miss her very much, she was a splendid mod as well as a good friend to many. We wish her lots of happiness and fun for the future. x

I contacted a few members earlier to see if they were interested in the position, but sadly they don't have the time to dedicate to the job; which is fair enough - you have to be honest with yourselves. Thank you very much for getting back to me, you guys, much appreciated.

So, we are now left with the option to advertise this position on the forum. If anyone would like to apply, please send me a PM with full details. Please note that management have requested that the new moderator be from the USA/Canada in order to balance out the time differences. I reside in the UK and so did Angie. So, it is good to now be able to address the earlier problem we had.

Please be aware that being a moderator is not a glamorous one - there's tough times and good times with this job. You need to be both strong and friendly in character. You also have to be quite neutral in your opinions and remain open-minded and fair - so as to not to take sides and/or encourage arguments on the board. You must also be a person who respects others - no matter what their race, religion, colour etc. This goes without saying really.

It is important that I stress that applicants also need to have the spare time to be online regularly in order to check threads and deal with extra forum activities like the fun contests and KOL awards etc. The whole thing can be quite time-demanding - it really is a labour of love.
