30th june at the o2!

I got lost in the night so high I don’t wanna come down…...

I was coming alone, not than I minded much but I knew Jo wanted to see the kings so when Rich and Debs offered me their spare ticket I jumped at the chance.
Jo was so excited to get the chance to see them and snapped up the ticket straight away.
Counting down the days to the 30th was exciting, seeing Jo every day at school was funny, all we had to do was look at each other and we would go ‘woo hoo’

First stop was to meet the lovely Rich and Debs to collect the ticket, I cant thank you both enough. Thanx x x x

As Jo and I were there early we had a lil walk around, where I found the standing queue…’Carrie (lia) I shouted! Woo hoo told you ill come and find you!

American bar grill was the first stop!
Jo and I sat down for a bit to eat and we talked about kol.com and I told her about the people on there and who we will all meet tonight, as I was telling her about ‘my son’ Maddy called me, ‘where are you?, im coming in’ I saw her come in so I got up to greet her…as I did she revealed David!...OMG! what a surprise!.(She had asked him to come and he said no, little did I know it was all planned for this surprise for me!)
I grabbed them both, I couldn’t believe it, what a lovely surprise, I was very moved by their thoughtfulness, there was even a moment where, im sure, there was a tear in my eye! They are both very special x

Next Barry rung so went out to meet him, always lovely to see him, the nicest guy you could possibly ask for. Then it was just a mad meet up with everyone!...couldn’t believe how many kol people made it to the gig. There was Barry ‘BOB’ (nicest bloke you could ever meet), kitty (love you nemesis, we giggled so much, and think agreed to SHARE!!!!!)) Liz (ha ha she grabbed me and hugged me hard, lovely lady you) Alison (very nice lady, will keep in touch, still think you look very familiar) Lisa (glad you came over and said hi, your lovely!) Laura (always nice to see you, lovely lady too) Hayley (love you girl! Meeting for lunch hopefully) Ang (nice to see you again) Haidee (she is always smiling!) And the Star herself….Debs…Well what can I say, everyone will agree with me when I say how stunning she is, and that smile I will treasure for ever. And Amber is a mirror image of her gorgeous mum. Had a quick chat with Debs but she was snowed under with meeting everyone. Hope to chat again very soon. I’m glad I met her, she is a very special lady. *sheds a tear while typing*
Glad to see everyone in yellow, was fab!

I also rung Sally, Sums and Hazy, they all said hi. I wished they were there too, would of bin the icing on the cake.

Well into the arena we go, Jo is shaking like a leaf, bless her, that was me on the 15th!...
Made my way over to my seat and couldn’t believe the view I had, although it was side view I had my Fav king in my sights all the time!..And Matt was amazing, always lookin up at us, when he did I gave my loudest ‘woo hoo’ and he looked at me and waved!...god that was a great feeling…
The camera was right below me on a big wheel track thing, there was also a camera on each of the boys for the entire gig, suppose it will all get edited for the DVD with the best bits.

The gig was just the best, so pleased they played ‘closer’ (mine and Barry’s fav) didn’t film it this time coz I wanted to enjoy and do the arm waves (very testing on yr arms)
Knocked up was just fab too, always so nice to hear the whole arena singing. But I think Black Thumbnail was the best of the night, Caleb kicking the mic over and falling to his knees playing his guitar was enough to send all the girls crazy…omg he was just great!...really rocking it. Jared gave a lil head rock and Matt did too. Nathan head rocked a lil and ohhh myyyyy *excited girly giggles* his hair…wow…
I phoned Sally thru the whole of Knocked up, she rung me straight back and heard the last 3 songs. Love you sally x
Caleb spoke quite a bit, apologised for the cost of the tickets, his mum was there too (bet she was well proud of her kings!) He also said about the cameras filming it.

After many songs Caleb thru his pic out to the crowd, and sometimes I think nobody claimed it..(should of hunted for one after…) and Nathan thru at least 3 pairs of drumsticks to the crowd, and after the gig finished they crew were giving all the spare drumsticks away, god I was annoyed that only the standing got the chance of them *goes to cry in the corner and stamps her feet* I would of loved one. Never mind, one day I will have my own Nate stick!

Anyway I think that’s enough, would want to bore you all! Hee hee!...

To all my KOL Family, thanx for a great night couldn’t for wished for anything better. Im so honoured to call you my friends. Love you all MWAH!
