I only just recently heard your music. I was channel surfing and stop to listen to "Sex on Fire" and then heard "Use Somebody" shortly after. Then of course, your recent show for FUSE and the wonderful appearance on SNL. I am totally hooked on the band. From the haunting vocals to the mesmerizing music. I can not get enough. I missed your show recently here in Charleston, South Carolina. I will not miss another oportunity.

To Ireland...is my grandmother's home country, and this present home my mine is not to blame for not knowing about KOL - it isn't our recognition of good music, it is the record company's unwillingness to share, and the radio's need to bludgeon us with whomever they have under contract...now that we have the pleasure of seeing the Kings look at the wild fire that has started. We're not stupid, we're just deprived. Don't blame all of us for the decisions of a few people...keep doing that and you'll sound, well, American! See y'all laata

In recent months I have read a few articles, especially from your homeland, about how your music has changed since earlier albums to your latest one and that KOL are appealing more to the "teeny bop" era. Rubbish!! I cannot believe it has taken your homeland so long to appreciate your amazing music.

Just because a band's newest album sounds different, is this not how to keep fans interested?! And was it not long ago that you were being slagged for not being more popular!

My fav tunes recently are "Manhattan" and "I Want You". Your music takes me to an "amazing emotional" place!!

My husband and I love you older and newer music and hope you continue for many years to come! We hope you will visit our small island again soon!

Your fan forever Lorraine x

I went to Rock Werchter,
I hope you can remember this ;P
and i found your act excellent!
I was really very impressed by you guys
and therefore i hope you read this letter,
but that isn't realistic I think.
the music clutched me,
sex on fire and use somebody are so good!
But I have read your letter in a magazine
and I think it's not really a compliment for you guys that a girl from 15 loves your music ;D
Yes, I love realy your music
and I hope you think of me when you are performing the next time in Belgium!

To be honest I have never heard of your music or your lyrics until late last night while I was watching Saturday Night Live (SNL). I was in a very dark place and the black hole of darkness and despair were consuming me, in my eyes I thought the battle of living was over. You see my father has a terminal illness and I was feeling sorry for myself and was in a place in my mind where nothing seemed familiar to me. I was sitting on my leather chair staring at the ceiling thinking about nothing and feeling empty inside. I was alone both in my heart and in my house until I started to hear a distance sound, its seemed like a far away sound but in reality I was sitting in from of my flat screen TV and then I heard it, the intro to "Use Somebody" . I awoke from my groggy state of exhaustion, and it felt like someone was giving me oxygen. I took a deep breath and focused my eyes on the screen and took in the Kings of Leon, I later found out was the name of your group and heard for the first time the tones and lyrics of "Use Somebody". I have since learned that your group is compose of four members of your family that came together to do what they love to do and play inspiring music and write divine lyrics because they opened my eyes. Your written words were emotional and had a significant impact in the way I look at life now. I was not living, I was merely existing. The world around me was living and I did not like that. I wanted everyone to stop and take this horrible journey with me. Look I have gone on about my feelings for awhile now, so I just wanted to tell you all THANK YOU.... for showing me the different colors of our life because in the end like a rainbow we all hope we will end up in heaven.
So my life now is to live to exist and not exist to live.
