Well done Sirs!

This was the first Kings gig my wife and I had been to despite being fans for years now (oh, he shame, I know).
It was, however, one of the most absofreakinglutely mind-blowing performances we have ever seen. The energy, the vibe, the skill and the passion of the band for their music was nothing short of concussive and we were reeling in the unfettered waves of power of the Kings threw at us. I don't think I've ever seen a band so "tight", so, so... flawless... Could this be due to their ties of kinship?...
It may be slightly heretical to say this, but the live performance was the perfection of what they have wrought in their recorded work - the extra dimension to the live music was clear and distinct and glorious, raising the audience into rock rapture. Well done too to the production team, especially the lighting - outstanding guys - "Four Kicks" (my personal highlight of the night) felt like one had been dragged into blood splattered, high-octane, red-strobe nightmare reminiscent of the video we love so much.
I too, like the previous correspondents, must mention my anger and disappointment at the bottle throwing [bad word removed]wits in the audience. If the guys had walked off stage, I think that most of the real fans would have completely understood and beaten the greasy, godforsaken shit outta the culprits. But to their total credit, professionalism and sheer clanging balls of chrome, the band played on. Seriously guys, thanks you.
The venue, however, must take a big share of the blame really for selling glass bottles of beer in the arena - come on people, a bit of common sense, please! A handful of pissed up chavs and a stack of glass missiles are a recipe to ruin anyone's night. I was warmed by the crowd's appreciation of the band's succinctly put warnings. Things mostly calmed down after that.
Anyway, that stuff could not put a downer on what for us will be one of the most memorable experiences of my life and needless to say we will be seeing the Kings of Leon as soon as we can again.
Just one last thing - did anyone catch the name of the support act? I was very impressed - I'll keep an eye out for them...
